    North Dakota Marriage and Divorce Records

    Copies of divorce records can only be obtained from the county recorder in the county in which the divorce or annulment was decreed. Effective 01/01/2008, certified copies of marriage records must be obtained from the county where the marriage took place. Prior records can be found at the ND Department of Health, Vital Records Office.
